Mission Statement:

Amarillo Art Institute's mission is to provide art education and to develop an appreciation for the visual arts.
Upcoming event--We are having an "Arty Party"--a fundraiser/membership drive on November 17th. 6:00-7:30 We'll have drinks and hors' deouvres and stroll through the Galleries at Sunset. Starting at 7:45, dinner and dance afterward. The guests will enjoy the abstract show and local artists will be demonstrating their skills. Arty Party
November 17, 2008		 Dinner and Dancing in the streets at Sunset
All monies will be going to Bringing in the Best--artists to instruct and teach the artists of Amarillo, throughout the panhandle and entire southwest region.

The dinner is being catered by Douglas Lee at The Golden Apple. It will be a West Texas style event featuring "Blue Denim" a western swing band. Some of the members played with the original Bob Wills' Texas Playboys. Amarillo National Bank is our gold sponsor at this time, with Scottco and Party Central as silver supporters.

We will be selling individual tickets for $75 each, tables for 8 with Gold Seating will sell for $750 with an ad in the program.
